Bisphenol A may cause mild skin irritation and can cause severe eye irritation. In tests the substance has shown to cause contact dermatitis when exposed to sunlight (photocontact dermatitis).
There have been cases of contact dermatitis due to work-related exposure.
The substance is not allowed in products with The BLue Label.The substance is a known allergen.
