The substance is permitted in products certified by Asthma Allergy Nordic but we require that the product contains purified Aloe Vera. It is not possible to use a cosmetic product's ingredient list to distinguish between purified or non-purified Aloe Vera.

There is a slight risk of irritation (burning/tingling) immediately after usingAloe Vera Gel. This is due to contraction effect of the substance on the skin as well as its stimulatory effect on the blood circulation. The irritation disappears within half an hour.
